Itinerary

Scenic Drive to Londorossi Gate

After breakfast, depart from Moshi for a scenic drive to Londorossi Gate, which takes approximately 4 hours. Upon arrival, complete park registration before continuing by vehicle for about one more hour to the Lemosho trailhead.

Beginning the Trek through Rainforest

Upon arrival, enjoy lunch before starting your trek through pristine, undisturbed rainforest. This peaceful and lush environment is rich in wildlife and features towering ancient trees, providing a gentle and scenic introduction to your Kilimanjaro adventure. The trail gradually ascends, allowing you to adjust to the altitude while enjoying the sights and sounds of the forest.

First Overnight Stop: Forest Camp

By the end of the trek, you will reach your first overnight stop at Forest Camp (Big Tree Camp), nestled deep within the rainforest. Here, you can relax, enjoy a warm dinner, and settle in for your first night on the mountain. Reaching Stella Point and Uhuru Peak
