Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival in Arusha

Arrival in Arusha

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha Airport (ARK), your personal driver-guide or company representative will warmly welcome you. Then, you will be transferred to your accommodation in Arusha for an overnight stay, preparing for your safari adventure the following day.

Arusha, often called the “Safari Capital” of Tanzania, offers a unique blend of colonial charm and vibrant local culture. If your arrival time allows, you can enjoy an optional city tour. During this tour, explore the town, visit bustling local markets, and discover the colorful Maasai market, renowned for its unique crafts and souvenirs. This way, you will experience the city’s lively atmosphere and get a true sense of local life.

Day 2 Arusha to Tarangire

Tarangire National Park Safari

After breakfast, your luxury safari begins with a private pick-up from your hotel in Arusha. Then, travel in a comfortable, custom-built 4×4 safari vehicle as you head toward Tarangire National Park, famous for its large elephant herds and ancient baobab trees.

Upon arrival, embark on a full-day game drive and enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park. Tarangire boasts rich wildlife, including lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and over 500 bird species. In addition, the Tarangire River attracts animals year-round, making it one of the best places for wildlife viewing in northern Tanzania.

Later in the afternoon, exit the park and transfer to your luxury lodge. Once there, relax, enjoy a gourmet dinner, and spend the night surrounded by the sights and sounds of nature.

Day 3 Ngorongoro to Arusha

Ngorongoro Crater Safari and Return to Arusha

After breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for an unforgettable game drive. This natural wonder is one of the largest unbroken calderas in the world and hosts over 25,000 animals, making every moment a wildlife spectacle.

During your game drive, you have one of the best chances in East Africa to see the Big Five: lion, leopard, black rhino, elephant, and buffalo. In addition, the crater is known for its high concentration of predators, including large prides of lions. With its breathtaking scenery, the Ngorongoro Crater is often considered one of the world’s most remarkable natural wonders and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Meanwhile, the wider Ngorongoro Conservation Area features a diverse landscape of mountain forests, woodlands, grasslands, lakes, swamps, and rivers. Around midday, enjoy a packed lunch at a scenic picnic site on the crater floor.

Later in the afternoon, ascend back to the crater rim and drive to Arusha, marking the end of your safari adventure.
