The 4-day and 3-night package has been designed for visitors with both interests in wildlife as well as hiking the highest mountain in Africa, but with limited time. This program takes you to Tarangire National Park (home of the elephants), the Ngorongoro Crater (home of the Big 5), as well as Lake Manyara National Park which is famous for its tree-climbing lions. Your trip will end up with the short but wonderful hike of Kilimanjaro. You stay in mid-range accommodations.
Depart from Arusha at 07:30 am and head to Tarangire National Park. It takes only 2 to 2.5 hours (120km) to drive to the national park entrance. You will have almost 10 minutes for the washroom at the entrance while your guide completes the legal formalities at the park authority offices before the morning and afternoon game drives (lunch included).
Early in the evening after the game drive, you will exit the park and head to Africa Safari Lake Manyara for dinner and overnight.
After breakfast, depart from the campsite and head to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. It takes 45 minutes to 1 hour (43 km) drive to reach the Ngorongoro entrance. While your guide completes the legal registration at the authority offices, you will have about 10 minutes to look around the area or use the washroom. After registration, your adventure to the Ngorongoro Crater begins. Enjoy a great game drive in the crater including lunch at the picnic site. Later, you will exit the park and return to Africa Safari Lake Manyara for dinner and overnight.
Today is your final day in the wild where you will end up at Lake Manyara. After breakfast, leave the campsite and head to the park. A drive of almost 30 minutes (28km) will be enough to arrive at the park entrance.
After completing legal formalities, the morning game drive will begin. You will take your lunch at the picnic site before proceeding with the afternoon game drive till early evening. Later, you will exit the park and return to Arusha for dinner and overnight at Hotel Tulia Boutique.
You will depart from the hotel at 06:00 am. Our driver will pick you up and head to Kilimanjaro National Park’s Marangu Gate (a drive of between 2.5 and 3 hours).
Breakfast will be served before starting your hike. After arrival, you will spend 10 minutes on registration, then you’ll start to climb. Walk through the rainforest to the Mandara encampment. A side trip to the Maundi Crater is a good way to see the surroundings including Northern Tanzania and Kenya. In the rainforest, look for towering eucalyptus trees, birdlife, and colobus monkeys.
After the trek, you will descend and head back to the airport in Nairobi or your hotel in Moshi or Arusha.

Price
-2450$ per person – we understand prices vary a lot from 1600$ – 5800$ learn why our price is a great deal & ethical (crew are fairly paid, as most companies’ exploit crew especially the hard working porters) – see price breakdown
Why should you consider companies paying porters fairly, example? Porters categorically are low income individuals, porters are hired per hike, porters carry 20kg along with about 5 – 8kg of their personal gear up the mountain, at higher altitude last camp porter will descend to the previous camp to take water supply, for all this work the minimum required wage by law is 10$ a day but companies will exploit porters mostly to price compete. With us porters are paid fairly & when you tip, its received as a tip & not a wage correction you are not aware of. & we recommend tipping as it goes a long way in the daily lives of the crew.
